Description:
“Bug Facts”
Bug Facts was my senior thesis film, and was an attempt to merge my interest in non-linear storytelling with a rigid narrative based animation program. The result was a fun, playful film that matches absurd and at times existential threads of dialog with visuals of bugs. As the film progresses, the bugs are anthropomorphized more and more as the film narrator slowly loses his mind and begins recounting the details of his failing marriage.
My Main focus in this film was color design, and the animation style chosen was a more reserved straight-on view. Programs utilized were adobe animate, adobe photoshop, after effects, and premiere.
